Job summary

Altium Packaging in Phoenix is seeking a Forklift Operator to operate a forklift, load and unload materials, and stack products following Good Manufacturing Practices. You will ensure safety standards and assist with inventory and line supplies in a fast-paced plant environment.

Applicants need a High School Diploma or GED and an OSHA forklift certification. Overtime may be required; the role involves accurate record-keeping and collaboration with production teams to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload and stack materials per procedures.

• Inventory and label, sort, wrap and tie product as needed.
• Unload and stack material using the lifting device.

Location Address:4239 N 39th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85019Work Shift:8hr-1st Shift (United States of America)The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials as well as following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agenciesLoad trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirementsLoad and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting deviceMonitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materialsWeigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedulesKeep production lines supplied with raw materialsInventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie productUnload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting deviceOther duties as assigned by managementReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.Minimum Requirements:Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Current OSHA forklift driving certificationThe requirements listed above are minimum requirements for the job.
