Job Description
Under general supervision, the Lift Truck Operator (LTO), Warehouse Worker will ensure the safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using equipment such as sit-down and stand-up forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk-behind trucks, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks, and radio frequency equipment.

What You’ll Do

1. Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout the facility.
2. Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, and perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
3. Operate equipment (stand-up forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk-behind trucks, single/double pallet jacks, RF) in a manner that promotes safety, in compliance with OSHA standards.
4. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment while meeting production standards.
5. Perform other duties such as inventory management, cleaning, forklift battery changes, and other responsibilities as needed.

What Experience And Education You Need

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

• Willingness to work overtime, evenings, or weekends, and adhere to attendance policies.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift, sit, hear, talk, use close vision, handle objects, and manipulate controls.
• Occasional use of distance vision, standing, kneeling, or crouching.
• Work in spaces with 55 inches of headroom and tolerate temperatures from -15°F to outside ambient conditions.
• Work at heights up to 30 ft., and lift/move boxes up to 70 lbs.
