Job summary

Greif, a global leader in packaging, seeks a Forklift Operator for the Baltimore facility. The role involves packaging products, operating sit-down forklift, and transporting finished goods to on-site warehouses.

No experience is required; training provided. Shifts are 12 hours (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with union scheduling. Pay is $25.96 per hour with potential to earn $50,000+ annually; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation.

Qualifications

• No experience is required.
• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
• Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Primary Functions include, but not limited to the packaging of our products into finished goods (ticketing, banding, wrapping) per customer specification and transporting to various on-site warehouses.
• 80% of time is spent on a sit-down forklift.
• 20% of time is operating converting machinery.
• Forklift experience is not required but is a plus.
• Successful candidates will receive Job Specific Training in addition to the safe use and operation of Powered Industrial Trucks to transport various materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow Safety Regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Computer based safety training.

Job Description:

Forklift Operator (Converting Department) - Baltimore, OH

Shift: 12-hour shifts(Must be able to work either 7a-7pm and 7pm-7am, dependent on seniority and schedule (2-2-3) for union facility

"Scheduled to work half the year"

Pay: $25.96

Earn up to $50,000+ per year!

Compensation Range:

The pay for this position is $25.96 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
