Job summary

York Building Products Co LLC in Maryland is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to help load, unload, and move materials while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

You will inspect equipment, follow safety regulations, and coordinate with Supervisors, Customer Service Representatives, and Sales teams to ensure orders are accurate before shipment. Overtime may be required to meet demand.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience is required.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust. Team members must be comfortable operating forklifts and other warehouse or heavy equipment while following all YBP safety policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

To perform this job successfully, candidates should be able to:

• Frequently climb on and off forklifts and equipment.
• Walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, and move throughout the workday.
