Job Description

Pay: $20.14 per hour

Location: Waterford, MI

Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm

We currently have an opening for a forklift driver at our distribution depot in Waterford, MI. Ideal candidates will have experience in distribution or transportation, be able to work independently, enjoy customer service, and have high attention to detail.

Position

The Forklift Operator will collaborate with other forklift operators, truck drivers, and general laborers to achieve performance goals. This role involves working in a team to load and unload vehicles, safely operating forklifts to complete tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift to load and unload products from commercial vehicles and store finished goods.
• Receive and inspect products to ensure quality standards.
• Transport consumables to production areas as needed.
• Maintain and clean equipment at the end of each shift.
• Work with the yard supervisor to handle discrepancies, malfunctions, and issues.
• Wear personal protective equipment according to training guidelines.
• Assist the team with additional duties as required.
