Job summary

Herff Jones, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator in Arcola to support warehouse pick/pack tasks, manage inventories, and assist with cross-training across departments. Adheres to OSHA forklift safety standards for double and stand-up reach trucks.

Daily responsibilities include inventory control, stocking conveyors, and accurately identifying and storing items. Requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and basic computer use (Excel/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Operate a PC and related software (Oracle, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Report to Warehouse Supervisor and perform pick/pack duties.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and stock locations.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Identify shortages and inform management.
• Stock gravity feed conveyors and ensure correct item placement.

What You’ll Be Doing On A Daily Basis:

Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for warehouse pick/pack duties, inventory related activities, and cross-training opportunities in other departments. You will be required to abide by all Company and Federal (OSHA) requirements for forklift operator certification for double reach and stand-up reach forklift trucks.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Inform and update management of shortages of stock needed for gravity feed conveyors.
• Maintains inventories of finished graduation apparel by color, size, and material.
• Responsible for correctly identifying and placing newly manufactured and returned items into proper storage areas.
• Responsible for stocking gravity feed conveyors.
• Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential functions.
• Operate a personal computer and related software. Oracle, Excel, etc.
• Perform all functions/tasks within the Department.
