Job summary

Transervice Logistics is seeking a Forklift Mechanic/Technician in New Jersey. The position involves maintaining a fleet of forklifts and other MHE, performing diagnostic work, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in related mechanic/technician roles.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of DC electrical circuits, current and voltage measurement.
• Ability to read and follow service manuals, diagrams and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pickers and other MHE.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems including brakes, steering, mast/hoist components and drives.
• Inspect and maintain batteries, chargers, LP/gas/diesel systems and electronic drive components for safety and compliance.
• Use diagnostic tools and manuals to identify faults and determine repairs.
• Replace worn parts and test equipment after maintenance to ensure safe operation.
