Qualifications

• 4+ years’ of hands‑on experience in material handling equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on diesel engines, brakes, tires, A/C systems, and MHE
• Solid working knowledge of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar units)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
• Ability to pass a DOT physical if required for the role

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and timely repairs on material handling equipment, including forklifts, stand‑up lifts, walk‑behind lifts, pallet jacks, and similar units.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and related systems on MHE.
• Conduct diesel engine diagnostics, brake repairs, tire service, A/C repairs, and scheduled PM services on material handling equipment.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and compliance standards.
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies; collaborate with supervisors and team members to minimize downtime.

This role focuses primarily on the maintenance and repair of material handling equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Pay & Schedule

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile and or shop environment that may include exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases.
