Job summary

You will troubleshoot engines, perform routine service, and monitor parts inventory. A high school diploma or GED and legal work status in the United States are required; forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
• 2 years forklift mechanic experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds propane and diesel forklift engines.
• Diagnoses failures and maintains forklift systems and parts.
• Uses hydraulic jacks to access the underside for maintenance.
• Conducts regular inspections to identify issues.
• Performs routine forklift maintenance such as oil changes and battery maintenance.
• Monitors parts inventory and procurement for maintenance and repairs.
