Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of engines, electrical systems, or hydraulics.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior mechanics with inspection, maintenance, and repair of forklifts and equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance including fluid checks and lubrication.
• Diagnose basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under supervision.
• Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
• Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and OSHA guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Learn proper use of tools, diagnostic equipment, and manuals.
• Other duties as assigned.
