Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Minster, OH with weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. You will perform forklift operations, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving in a clean, safety‑oriented warehouse.

Shifts on nights with 44–55 hours per week; base pay $23.00/hr with a $0.50 increase after 6 months and after 1 year, overtime $34.50/hr, plus night differentials up to $4.00/hr and incentives. A $1,000 sign‑on bonus is paid in installments.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Operate within core shift hours and contribute to performance goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler Positions Pay Weekly

Up to $27 per hour (including shift differentials)

• Base pay: $23.00 per hour
• .50 increase after 6 mo and 1 year
• Overtime Pay: $34.50 per hour
• Additional Pay:
• Shift Differentials up to $4.00/hr on nights
• Productivity Incentives: Eligible to earn up to an extra $10/hr
• Monthly attendance bonuses
• Sign-on bonus:
• $1,000 bonus paid in four installments at 30, 60, 90, 180 day

• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
