Job summary

United Performance Metals in Hamilton, OH is hiring a full-time forklift/crane operator to support the distribution of specialty metals. The role is on-site, with shift hours Friday–Sunday from 5:00am to 5:30pm, and is non-exempt under FLSA.

Starting wage ranges from $20-24 per hour depending on experience, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Benefits include health, dental, PTO, holidays, and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to perform crane operations and assist material handling.
• Attention to inventory control and accurate order processing.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from operators and perform general fork truck and crane operations.
• Ensure sufficient goods/inventory are available and pull materials from stock.
• Process orders, check tolerances, and package material for shipment.
• Prepare orders for shipment and return unused material to inventory.
• Manage space by consolidating material and maintain housekeeping.
