Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Material Handler for first shift (7am-3pm, Mon-Fri) in Byhalia, MS. The role centers on accurate order fulfillment—selecting, packing, labeling, staging, and shipping products per procedures.

You will operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, verify orders against documents, recount items before shipment, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, walkie riders, reach trucks, stretch wrappers, and scales (preferred).
• Forklift and Reach/Order Picker certification (required).
• Experience using warehouse management systems, RF scanners, and/or voice systems (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Transport, select, verify, package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Compare picking or packing lists with customer documents to ensure accuracy.
• Recount products before shipment to verify quantities.
• Label and address products and transport them to the designated staging area.
• Ensure all products meet required specifications before packing and shipping.
• Handle all products in accordance with established customer and internal procedures.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse team members, management, and customers.
