Job summary

Hendrickson in Indiana, just north of Fort Wayne, is seeking a warehouse associate to operate sit-down, reach, turret, and order picker equipment. You will stock, pick, weigh and stage materials and help keep work centers supplied and organized.

Candidates must read and write English, be able to lift up to 40 lbs, meet production standards and have forklift certification. Training is provided, and benefits start within 30–60 days; weekly pay and potential for college assistance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English clearly.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Must meet production servicing standards.
• Forklift certification required.
• Willing to operate reach, sit-down, order picker and turret lifts up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, reach, turret and order picker equipment safely and efficiently.
• Supply multiple work centers with materials.
• Weigh or count, band and tag production material for storage or shipment.
• Place material in and out of storage according to inventory procedures.
• Keep storage and staging areas clean and orderly.
• Load and unload trucks and complete required paperwork accurately.
