Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The role involves forklift operation, packing, shipping, and receiving on a 2nd shift schedule Wednesday–Saturday with late evening hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year+ related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Punctual with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Follow contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
