Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc., including the Linetec brand, is hiring a Material Handler in Wausau. You will move, track, and ship materials, ensure accurate inventory, and use the warehouse system to report status. A team-oriented, safety-focused environment supports cross-training and growth.

You’ll follow work instructions, read basic blueprints, and perform data entry while maintaining quality and precision in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use hand tools.
• Experience with basic material handling equipment.
• Basic computer/data entry skills and SOP adherence.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack, and ship materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory with cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Use warehouse systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting.
• Read and follow work instructions and basic blueprints.
• Perform data entry and assist with inventory discrepancies.
• Support cross-training across multiple areas.
