Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Minster, OH is partnering with a leading yogurt manufacturer to hire dedicated Material Handlers/Production Operators. This role supports plant production and supply chain by moving, stocking, and staging raw materials and finished products. Work on a predictable 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-3).

Shifts are 5:45AM–6:00PM or 5:45PM–6:00AM, with varying hours. Requires High School diploma, forklift experience, and strong reliability.

Qualifications

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory/warehouse systems (SAP, WMS).
Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities.
Prior warehouse or distribution experience is preferred.
Team-oriented with proactive safety and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

Handle materials and logistics including loading, unloading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., stand-up forklifts) safely.
Maintain accurate inventory using warehouse management systems and proper documentation.
Stage materials for production lines and ensure continuous flow of operations.
Follow safety protocols and GMP/ HACCP standards to ensure a clean, safe workplace.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
