Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Maintenance/Forklift Position to safely operate forklifts, perform routine maintenance, and move materials around the facility in Richardson, TX. Responsibilities include troubleshooting minor equipment issues, keeping work areas clean, and assisting with general upkeep.

Must have forklift experience, valid certification, and a strong safety mindset. Schedule Monday–Friday 7:30–4:30.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Valid forklift certification
• Basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic equipment problems.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Previous industrial, warehouse, or facility maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials, products, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery, equipment, doors, lighting, plumbing, and other facility systems.
• Keep work areas, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized.
• Report equipment problems, safety hazards, and maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with general facility upkeep, including cleaning, minor repairs, and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Maintain proper care and handling of tools, equipment, and company property.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as required.
