Smurfit Westrock is seeking Production Workers with forklift and/or clamp truck experience at our Longview, WA corrugated plant. You will be responsible for different phases of the production process and for efficiently producing high-quality product, while performing quality checks during production.

The role emphasizes safety, the ability to follow policies, and working through all three rotating shifts (days, swing, grave), including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating a forklift or clamp truck.
• Willingness to work all three rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking Production Workers with experience operating a Forklift and/or Clamp Truck at our new Longview, WA Corrugated Plant. You will be responsible for different phases of the production process and for efficiently producing high-quality product. Responsibilities for your role will also include performing quality assurance checks during the production process and managing the upkeep of the of the machines.

Qualities We're Seeking in our Employees:

Must have experience operating a forklift or clamp truck. All Team Members are responsible for safety, this includes personal safety and food safety. Must drive positive safety culture. Someone with a proven record of performance, attendance and attention to detail; has demonstrated the drive to achieve and move up in previous jobs; initiates his/her own learning; gets along well with others; is helpful; can handle the physical requirements (heat, noise, shift work 8's and 12's, can work inside, outside, etc.) and has the mechanical, numerical, and verbal aptitude to learn our jobs quickly. All Team Members are required to follow safety policies and procedures.

What you need to succeed:

• A minimum of 3 years of full-time or part-time employment or schooling (or combination) within the last 4 years

The salary range for this position is $23.42/hr, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
