Job summary

IKO Industries in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Loader / Operator to safely load and unload materials, using a sit-down forklift with certification. You will follow pick lists, locate items, and apply FIFO principles in an outdoor warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with drivers, directing loading areas, and supporting railcar unloading while adhering to IKO safety policies and procedures. The role requires English fluency and certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience preferred.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Able to pass forklift certification class and test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift with a valid certification.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure accurate and safe loading/unloading.
• Use pick lists to locate materials in the yard or warehouse.
• Identify product locations using signage and apply FIFO principles.
• Direct truck drivers to loading/unloading areas.
• Support other shipping duties as needed.
• Understand railcar unloading procedures and Trackmobile operation.
