Job summary

Elwood Staffing is seeking a Forklift Loader Operator in Sarasota, FL for a temp-to-hire, full-time role on the first shift (07:00am–04:00pm) with a $16.00/hour pay rate. This position offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities within a fast-paced food production environment.

You will operate forklifts, move materials to storage and lines, perform daily inspections, maintain inventory records, and assist packing, sorting, and stocking while upholding safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift/warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Ability to lift/move materials in a warehouse.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Move products to designated storage areas, trucks, and production lines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and product damage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners or manual logs.
• Support general warehouse operations, including packing, sorting, stocking, and inventory counts while communicating effectively with the team.

Forklift Loader Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $16.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Move products to designated storage areas, trucks, and production lines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Forklift Loader Operator Qualifications:

• Previous forklift, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.

• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials while performing physical warehouse tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Reliable attendance, commitment to safety procedures, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
