BWT Logistics in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our day shift team. You will operate sit-down forklifts, use RF handheld devices, and support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling to keep our operations running safely and accurately.

You will work both independently and with a team, cross-trained across warehouse functions, adhere to safety procedures, and participate in overtime as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attendance record.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, move, and store materials.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Navigate warehouse aisles and storage areas while following all safety procedures.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Prepare outbound shipments through proper labeling, staging, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
• Execute inventory control and warehouse data entry functions through handheld and computer systems.
• Support order picking, packing, replenishment, and returns processing.
• Follow proper product storage and stacking procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Comply with all company policies, OSHA regulations, TSA requirements, and Customs security procedures.
• Participate in cross-training opportunities to support operational flexibility.
• Work overtime and weekends as required by business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
