Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a dedicated team member for Asset Protection/Inventory support. This role involves operating a forklift, counting and validating inventory, and coordinating with departments to ensure accurate counts and safe, efficient processes.

You will contribute to a safe, respectful, and productive store environment for members and colleagues. Candidates should have forklift experience, strong communication and computer skills, and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service.
• Maintains safety, service, and sanitation standards for members and team.
• Processes damaged/defective merchandise following salvage,d donations, vendor returns and reverse logistics procedures.
• Obtains return authorizations from vendors, processes vendor chargebacks, and packages/ships merchandise returns per policy.
• Maintains correct stock/inventory status for damaged, defective, and returned merchandise.
• Operates forklift and maintains required training/safety certifications.
• Keeps department organized, clean, and compliant with safety/lock-up standards.
