Job summary

Itape in Atlanta is seeking a Material Handler to move materials through the plant using powered industrial trucks. You will organize the work area, stage finished goods, and support production as needed.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing with PIT experience, a high school diploma, IPG PIT licensing, and strong English writing and computer skills. You will stand/walk up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs daily, contributing to safety and lean processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience with powered industrial trucks.
• Licensed for Power Industrial Truck usage under IPG protocols.
• Ability to meet objectives with minimum supervision.
• Strong English written communication and basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials to production lines using powered industrial trucks.
• Organize work area and stage finished product as instructed by supervisor.
• Track and sort inventory and load trailers for outbound shipments; ensure accuracy of materials entering/exiting facility.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Relieve in production as assigned and trained.
• Maintain safety first mentality and lean manufacturing practices.
• Perform related tasks as requested by supervisor.
