Job summary

Macmillan Publishing's MPS division in Gordonsville, VA is seeking a Rolling Equipment (Forklift) Operator for our Inventory Control Department. You will operate Pacer, turret truck, order picker, and walkie/rider, at elevations up to 35 feet, following safety protocols.

The role requires warehouse experience, familiarity with WMS, and strong attention to detail. We offer a $1,000 retention bonus after one year, paid time off, 11 holidays, a 401(k) plan, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and correspondences.

Responsibilities

• Picks cartons and loose stock to staging areas for replenishment and full case/pallet picks.
• Ensures proper labeling for system scanners.
• Loads cartons on conveyors and drop zones; places products in picking locations.
• Counts and verifies inbound/outbound freight quantities.
• Uses WMS and scanning devices to record moves and transfers stock.
• Maintains clean and safe work area and adheres to safety policies.
