Job summary

Wesco Turf, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle forklift-driven moves, loading/unloading trucks, and accuracy in inventory staging for customer orders.

This role requires reading and speaking English, a current forklift certification, and the physical ability to lift heavy items. Responsibilities include verifying pick tickets, supporting UPS Shipping Station backup, and preparing orders for shipping by truck or other means.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous related experience a strong plus.
• Possess current forklift certification.
• Ability to read and speak English fluently.
• Ability to routinely lift, carry, push or pull heavy items.
• Ability to operate a forklift to move pallets.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move pallets and boxes.
• Unload inventory from trucks.
• Pull and stage inventory for customer pick up, delivery by truck, or other means.
• Assist with the inventory receiving process and inventory cycle counts as needed.
• Verify pick tickets with outgoing inventory.
• Support back up for UPS Shipping Station.
• Assist in preparing orders for shipping by truck or other means.
