Job summary

Florida Tile, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to perform semiskilled tasks including order processing, quality inspections, forklift operation, and loading/unloading trucks. You will move materials, verify shipments, palletize items, and support order processors as needed.

Responsibilities emphasize safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate can lift 50 pounds regularly and communicates clearly with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to work in high areas.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Receives product and orders both physically and in the system.
• Performs quality inspections.
• Operates a forklift and other equipment as needed.
• Ensures trucks are unloaded properly.
• Prepare orders based on packing lists.
• Achieves and maintains acceptable minimum standards of activity.
• Verifies color and records grade, shade, and quantity selected for shipment.
• Palletizes cartons according to shipping orders.
• Moves production materials into warehouse.
• Moves pallets of material within warehouse and trucks.
• Ensures trucks are loaded properly according to the shipping order.
• Assist order processors with selection and palletizing materials.
• Maintains order and condition of all material stored in warehouse.
• Identifies and processes return materials.
• Inspects assigned equipment on a daily basis.
• Performs general housekeeping duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
