Job summary

RRD is seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Forklift Operator in St. Charles, IL to move finished products, supply manufacturing with materials, stage shipments, and maintain inventory. You will operate forklifts, ensure safety, and perform housekeeping tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Typical duties include loading, unloading, and navigating aisles with care, verifying loads, and keeping accurate records. We offer comprehensive benefits, overtime, and a sign-on bonus as part of the compensation

Qualifications

• Must know how high, wide, and long the forklift truck and its load are and how much it can lift.
• Ability to determine doorway and aisle dimensions to maneuver the forklift and loads.
• Knowledge of storage area layouts to locate and place items without detailed instructions.
• Skilled at moving forklifts in tight spaces and stacking or removing loads.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage.
• Supplies Manufacturing Department with materials as needed.
• Stages product to be moved or shipped.
• Racks unused supplies and maintains inventory records.
• Transports and processes manufacturing paper by-products.
• Performs routine daily inspections on hoists and reports maintenance needs.
• May perform battery service and lubrication of forklift components.
• Follows safety policies and procedures including hazardous waste handling.
