Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Holland, MI is seeking a warehouse/loader to unload materials, move ingredients, and load finished goods for shipment. The role requires forklift operation, SAP inventory logging, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Training to attain Lockout/Tagout certification will be provided; while physically demanding, this position offers steady schedule and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must qualify for and maintain Forklift License, both medically and with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to use SAP to log/track inventory movements.
• Must successfully pass on the job training and maintain operator qualification.
• Upon hire will train to become Lock Out Tag Out certified.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw materials from trucks and supply production departments with materials via lift truck.
• Remove finished goods from production areas and place materials in proper storage areas.
• Load finished goods on trucks for shipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly and participate in KHMS processes.
• Support production lines and work with support departments to improve line performance.

Work Schedule:

• Second Shift (2:00PM - 10:30PM) Monday - Friday

• Shift premium: $1.25

• Ability to work all shifts as required by training needs

• Ability to work daily overtime as needed

• Ability to work Saturday and Sunday overtime days as needed

• Holland Plant has been around since 1897

• Products produced: Sweet relish, Grey Poupon mustard, yellow mustard, vinegar, pickle variations, BBQ sauce

Job Overview:

This person is responsible for unloading raw materials from trucks, supplying production departments with materials and ingredients as required via lift truck, removing finished goods from production areas, placing raw materials and finished goods in proper storage areas, and loading finished goods on trucks.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Work in a safe manner, following all general safety rules of the plant. This includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

• Assure that we are always working to meet or exceed our quality standards. This includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

• Responsible for supporting the production lines in the facility to include but is not limited to the following tasks:

• Support Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS). This includes, but is not limited to, participation in the following processes:

• Work with support departments to improve line performance

• Keep work area clean and orderly

• Perform any other duty as assigned by supervisor or lead person

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 - 100 pounds, requiring assistance as necessary.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee will be exposed during his/her job to high noise levels, chemicals, exposure to strong odors, fumes or airborne particles, constant stair climbing, and slippery floors.

Personal Protective Equipment: The employee is regularly required to wear company authorized safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, rubber boots, chemical protection and other personal protective equipment to successfully perform the functions of this job safely.
