Job summary

Openwork is seeking a dependable Shipping and Receiving Operator to join our Baytown, TX warehouse team. The role requires forklift experience, strict attention to detail, and a focus on safe handling of materials while keeping the area organized and efficient.

You will operate a forklift, receive and organize materials, and prepare items for shipment. The position supports inventory tasks and training of new staff, with a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and a pay rate of $17.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and shipments.
• Receive, handle, and organize incoming materials.
• Prepare and ship finished products to customers.
• Pack orders, close cartons, and prepare materials for shipment.
• Handle internal warehouse materials and assist with inventory activities as needed.
• Inspect pallets and materials for errors, damage, or defects and report quality concerns.
• Assist with training and supporting new employees.
• Maintain an organized work area and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
