Position Summary: The Forklift Equipment Operator supports inventory processes, solutions, and strategies for improving inventory accuracy and order fulfillment quality, including cycle counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting, and reporting. Investigates inventory inaccuracies, provides root cause analysis, and recommends corrective actions. Collaborates with the Inventory Manager and peers to reduce inventory discrepancies and theft or shrinkage. Compiles inventory information and presents it to management for decision-making. MUST HAVE Cherry Picker experience.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement policy changes regarding inventory.
  • Perform managerial functions, including staff retraining if necessary.
  • Perform daily forward and reverse Empty Bins.
  • Audit moves and put-away processes.
  • Manage returns to stock, including cycle counts and research.
  • Maintain count accuracy through digital and physical counts.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Use computerized inventory software to record, track, and maintain inventory data.
  • Possess inventory specialist skills.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Cherry Picker and Reach Truck experience required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in inventory management or related field.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent math and accounting skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Job-specific training required before start date.
