Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Driver - Days in Olive Branch, MS. The role involves scanning put-aways, pulling from reserve, and moving pallets across backstock areas in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include operating OP/RT/SW and DS forklifts, meeting weekly LM rates, and maintaining safety standards. Onsite position with opportunities across multiple departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of forklift driving experience with OP/RT/SW and DS.
  • Onsite role (in office).
  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting the RF Scanner.
  • Able to read and match numbers to ensure order accuracy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must meet/exceed Labor Management rates weekly.
  • Flexible for alternate schedules during peak periods.
  • Available to work in various departments/buildings as needed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Scan put-aways to reserve locations and perform PFR/HVS/MOD tasks.
  • Move pallets between drop zones and backstock as needed.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse.

The Forklift Driver - Days is responsible for scanning put-aways to reserve locations, Pull from Reserve (PFR), High Volume Singles (HVS), Module (MOD) tasks. May also move pallets from Outbound (OB) drop zones to backstock areas, and/or place pallets from the drop zones to backstock locations.


The Forklift Driver - Days position is located in Olive Branch, MS.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....
  • Be certified to operate the Raymond Brand Forklifts: Order Picker (OP), Reach Truck (RT), and Swing Reach (SW) and Dock Stocker (DS)
  • Work at a pace that is consistent with departmental productivity and quality standards
  • Use a hand-held device to perform scanning as well as looking up functions in Pick Ticket Management System (PKMS)
  • Handle cartons, store pallets, and use shrink wrap to secure pallets

  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting the Radio Frequency Scanner (RF Scanner)
  • Able to read and match numbers to ensure accuracy when completing orders
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Must be able to meet/exceed Labor Management (LM) Rates on a weekly basis
  • Flexible to work alternate schedules during peak season and other high-volume times
  • Available to work in various departments and buildings as needed
  • Focus on maintaining a safe working environment at all times
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

  • Have working knowledge of Pick Ticket Management System (PKMS)
