Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a warehouse associate in Goshen, Indiana to operate a forklift, maintain skids, and support packing lines while upholding GMP, safety, and quality standards. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude to keep production moving.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift to move finished skids and inventory.
  • Maintain supply of skids for auto and semi-auto lines.
  • Double stack empty bins and bale scrap cardboard.
  • Pull products from warehouse for repacks and packing line support.
  • Maintain knowledge of QMS and ISO standards and safety procedures.
  • Train and mentor new hires and temporary employees.

Primary Job Functions
  • Forklift experience required
  • Maintain supply of skids for auto lines and semi-auto lines
  • Double stack empty bins
  • Bale scrap cardboard; Empty gaylord of trash into outside dumpster
  • Pull products from warehouse for repacks.
  • Assist on packing lines when needed
  • Maintain knowledge of QMS and ISO Standards
  • Maintain a GUNG-HO attitude in support of the Amcor vision statement, goals, and company culture
  • Follow and encourage GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Ensure that safety is a priority by following all safety procedures
  • Train and mentor new hires and temporary employees
  • Pull FG from take off lines and Inventory complete to proper locations

  • Keep finished skids moved to maintain packing flow
  • Operate forklift in safe manner
  • Be on time
  • Work well with other department members
  • Be a Role Model - No exceptions from safety absolutes and plant rules; What you say and do impacts everyone on your shift. Positively and Negatively
  • If you feel a task that you have been asked to complete is unsafe, stop and request additional information - Take immediate action to address a safety hazard
  • Visible participation in pre- shift meetings reiterating safety
  • Daily review housekeeping with focus on your areas; don't settle
  • Daily conduct conversations with team members on safety
  • Respond to employee concerns with the respect that it deserves
