Job Overview: In the Forklift Driver role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle to perform tasks related to storing, shipping, and receiving. This role supports the Warehouse Manager, Supervisor, and Production team.

  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
  • Notify appropriate departments of issues related to Warehouse, Shipping, Maintenance, Quality, etc.
  • Perform housekeeping duties at the work center, such as sweeping, as directed by the Lead or Manager.
  • Load and unload trailers and containers.
  • Move, stack, and stage products (e.g., boxes, preforms resin, trays).
  • Pick and pull orders, handle receivings and putaways.
  • Consolidate partial pallets, raw materials, or finished goods.
  • Verify Pack IDs.
  • Count products and materials.
  • Lock and unlock doors, open and close the yard gate.
  • Check the status of machines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform all tasks and responsibilities of a Material Handler II.
  • Properly utilize the Ginder.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, identify and address problems, and meet deadlines.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both reading and writing.
  • Work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Be committed to organizational success.
