Job Overview

In the Forklift Driver role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle to perform tasks related to storing, shipping, and receiving. This role supports the Warehouse Manager, Supervisor, and Production team.

Responsibilities

1. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
2. Notify appropriate departments of issues related to Warehouse, Shipping, Maintenance, Quality, etc.
3. Perform housekeeping duties at the work center, such as sweeping.
4. Load and unload trailers and containers.
5. Move, stack, and stage products (e.g., boxes, resin, trays).
6. Pick and pull orders, receive shipments, and put away goods.
7. Consolidate partial pallets, raw materials, or finished goods.
8. Verify Pack IDs.
9. Count products and materials.
10. Lock/unlock doors, open/close yard gates.
11. Check machine statuses.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
13. Be able to perform all responsibilities of a Material Handler II.
14. Properly utilize the Ginder.
15. Manage multiple tasks, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines.
16. Work with minimal supervision.
17. Communicate effectively in English (reading and writing).
18. Work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
19. Be committed to organizational success.

Minimum Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking.
• Wear ANZI Z41 safety footwear.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Push, pull, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl.
• Repetitive reaching and grasping motions.
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification to operate sit-down, counterbalance, reach truck, and/or order picker.
• At least 1 year of warehouse work experience with forklift operation.
• Experience with RF equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment.
• Experience in the plastics or manufacturing industry is a plus but not required.
