Job summary

CS Power Systems is seeking a warehouse associate to support material handling and distribution. You will locate, transport, and stage materials to and from machines, docks, and storage areas to meet production and shipping needs.

The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse operations, forklift experience, RF scanner use, and ability to work a 12-hour continental shift. This on-site position emphasizes safety and efficient loading processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
• Experience with RF scanners, pallet wrapping, labeling, and hand-pump equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and transports requested materials to and from machines, docks, trucks, and storage areas.
• Obtains production schedules and shipping orders; verifies and transports materials accordingly.
• Assesses loading capacity and schedules to ensure prompt delivery of items.
• Uses protective materials and strapping tools; removes wrapping and disposes waste properly.
• Reports problems with materials or transportation to supervisor.
• Manages drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas.
• Services equipment as needed and reports mechanical or electrical issues.
• All other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, railroad cars, trucks, and storage areas.
• Obtains production schedule and/or shipping orders and then identifies, verifies, and transports requested raw materials, equipment, or processing materials accordingly.
• Applies understanding of machine loading capacity and loading schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of required items.
• Uses protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads; once delivered, removes strapping and wrapping, then safely disposes of waste materials in designated containers or areas.
• Reports any problems with materials or transportation to supervisor.
• Manages and piles drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas.
• Services equipment as needed, reporting mechanical or electrical difficulties to truck mechanics.
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Ability to work a continental 12-hour shift schedule (6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.).
• Prior experience operating forklifts; forklift or heavy machinery certification preferred.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment, including RF scanners, pallet wrappers, label machines, hand jacks, and hand dollies.
