DrinkPAK, a Fort Worth, Texas-based beverage manufacturer, seeks a dependable Forklift Driver to support loading, unloading, and material handling across production areas. Night shift availability and a strong safety mindset are required.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts of various types, coordinating with production teams, and maintaining accurate inventory while documenting movements and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is required and must pass company forklift training and OSHA evaluation.
• Proven ability to safely operate sit-down forklift and multiple forklift types.
• Ability to navigate within a WMS system.
• Strong attention to detail and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks safely and promptly to serve customers.
• Plan supply and material needs by studying the production schedule and scheduling deliveries.
• Retrieve and verify supplies, secure pallets, and move them to production locations.
• Maintain inventory in the production area and report discrepancies.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following procedures and safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain forklifts, perform preventative maintenance, and call for repairs when needed.
• Document movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Base Hourly Rate: $24/hr+$2.00 Shiff Differential SHIFT: Must be willing to work night shift; 12 hours per day 2/2/3 Schedule.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Forklift Driver is responsible for preparing merchandise and securing it for safe, easy transport, communicating with leadership to determine priorities, and performing regular machine maintenance on forklifts.

LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK’s Texas Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Type: Full-Time, Regular.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unloads and loads trucks in a safe and timely manner to serve our customers
• Plans supply and material requirements by studying production schedule, scheduling deliveries to production area
• Retrieves supplies and materials by studying specifications; locating and verifying supplies and materials; secures pallets on truck; moves pallet to production location
• Maintains inventory in production area by anticipating and tracking usage.
• Monitors inventory by reporting discrepancies.
• Clears production area by securing and moving finished pallets and moving empty pallets
• Documents actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods
• Maintains safe work environment by watching out for pedestrian traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with safety / legal regulations.
• Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance; calling for repairs
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Interacts and maintains positive relationships with all levels of leadership
• Accomplishes special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management
• Compliant to all safety rules and regulations, GMP’s and all DrinkPAK’s policies and procedures
• Establishes and maintains high standards for quality, housekeeping and productivity
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Graduate Equivalency Diploma required.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment
• Forklift Certification required
• Must be able to pass a company-administered forklift training and evaluation in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Proven ability to safely operate a sit-down motorized Forklift
• Ability to navigate within a WMS system
• Must have a full understanding of the operations of a Forklift, (electrical or Propane)
• Ability to operate or learn to operate: Sit-down and stand-up forklifts Double Wide Pallet jacks Reach trucks and other material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of loading/unloading, staging, and inventory rotation (FIFO/FEFO) preferred
• Ability to complete basic paperwork or use handheld scanners/inventory systems.
• Basic math and reading skills to follow instructions and count products.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean, organized work area.
