What You’ll Do

• Operate forklift trucks to load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently
• Prepare materials for identification, sampling, and warehouse storage
• Apply bar code ticketing to all materials following established procedures
• Verify, count, and inventory materials with accuracy
• Maintain and update material locations using the Bar Code Inventory System and Intermec PC unit
• Ensure proper daily maintenance and care of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and industrial machinery
• Stretch‑wrap pallets of raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in accordance withMP and FDA regulations
• Adhere to all department and company SOPs as well as safety rules and regulations
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Forklift operator’s license (required)
• Previous warehouse experience (preferred)
• Ability to operate forklifts and industrial equipment safely and efficiently
• Basic math skills for counting and reconciling materials
• Ability to read and interpret instructional signs and warning placards
• Experience with trailer loading/unloading and truck dock operations
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Conscientious, hardworking, detail‑oriented, and able to follow instructions
• Willingness to work different shifts, hours, and overtime on short notice
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, sustaining one hour of strenuous activity, and working on feet or standing for most of the shift
• Ability to move containers on and off pallets and maintain peripheral and color vision for safe operations
