Job summary

Alamance Foods Inc. in Graham, NC is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on loading, unloading, shipping and receiving while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

You will operate a forklift, move materials across the facility and optimize loads for daily throughput, while following GMP and safety rules.

The position requires bilingual English/Spanish, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Proven GMP compliance knowledge and practice.
• Experience as a warehouse clerk or similar role.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with warehouse software.
• Experience with Bills of Lading (BOL) and shipping/receiving documentation.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Teams for coordination.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Adhering to GMPs and safety rules.
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintaining a clean work area.
• Collaborating effectively with team members.
• Work in non-climate controlled areas (hot and cold).

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Must abide by all company GMP’s and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
• Will be exposed to non-climate control areas (hot and cold areas)

QualificationsRelated Experience: Minimum 2 year

Knowledge/Skills Experience:

• Responsible for knowing and adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Proven experience as a warehouse clerk or similar role.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Bills of Lading (BOL) and shipping/receiving documentation.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams for communication and coordination.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
