Job description

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a 2nd shift Forklift Driver to work at our sauces processing facility in Fremont, OH. Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.Starting Pay Rate $23.93 per hour.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Pick up unit loads of ingredients, finished goods, wastes, etc. and transport and stack time.
• Perform stacking and unstacking operations.
• Load and unload trucks and rail cars.
• Maintain gas, oil and water supply to assure proper operation of lift trucks.
• Perform necessary manual labor in the performance of the job. (i.e. lift pallets and cases of finished goods, stretch wrap pallets, move drums of materials and wastes.
• Maintain quality standards and keep records as required to assure smooth operation of the warehouse and shipping functions.
• Maintain area in a clean and safe condition following Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Follow all departmental safety rules and conform to all Job Safety Analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Candidates must be available to work all shifts including second, third & weekends and holidays
• 5+ years’ forklift driver experience
• Ability to learn and demonstrate the use of SAP
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
• Prior Forklift Driver experience required
