The Warehouse Associate is responsible for using a forklift, walker, or hand jack to move materials within the warehouse, including raw products, dry goods, or finished goods.

This position requires following proper procedures for product rotation and flow through the warehouse. The incumbent will handle all necessary documentation and procedures for this function and perform order picking and loading via the Voice system. Proficiency in using and troubleshooting the Voice system is essential to minimize discrepancies reaching customers. The Warehouse Associate must maintain a safe speed when picking orders and may stage orders in designated areas or load directly into trailers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Inspect powered jacks/trucks for safety and operational condition
• Operate powered jacks/trucks safely
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and company policies
• Ensure accurate and timely workflow for all assignments
• Complete all required documentation
• Keep work areas, including dock areas and coolers, clean and organized
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clerks, production, and QA teams
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Use Voice system to pick and load orders

Requirements

• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Basic math skills
• Bilingual in English/Spanish and/or English/Polish
• Forklift certification preferred
• High School Diploma highly desirable
• Experience in the food industry is a plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience exceeding customer expectations
• Previous experience with Voice order picking
• Experience working in cold environments
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision
• Warehouse experience preferred
• At least one year of forklift, warehouse, or cold environment experience
