Job summary

Williams-Sonoma DC - South Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Forklift Driver for 1st shift to support our fast-paced distribution center. You will work with leadership to complete daily tasks, perform precise pallet moves, and ensure inventory accuracy using our warehouse system.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of forklift experience, and strong attendance. This onsite position emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and safety in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of forklift experience operating Swing Reach, Reach Truck, & Order Picker.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to ensure completion of daily tasks by end of day.
• Complete daily pick for the Hub using inventory management system.
• Operate warehouse equipment to move and store products and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Load/unload, stack, and stage products with power equipment.
• Maintain organization and housekeeping of aisles and surroundings.
• Promote safety and follow safety procedures.

The Forklift Driver - 1st Shift position is located in South Brunswick, NJ. You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

• Work with leadership to ensure the completion of all (Manual and On-Task) tasks by end of each day
• Complete daily pick for the Hub with the use of our inventory management system
• Utilizing the orders to understand where items need to be moved – may or may not include power equipment
• Utilizing the warehouse system to maintain and uphold inventory accuracy
• Ensuring the completion of all staging/sweeping tasks using power equipment
• Loads and unloads, stacks, and stages products utilizing multiple types of power equipment
• Ensure organization and housekeeping of aisles and surroundings daily
• Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company to help avoid unsafe or hazardous working conditions
• Other duties as instructed

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 1 year of forklift experience in operating the following: Swing Reach, Reach Truck, & Order Picker
• This is an onsite and in office role
• Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (PKMS)
• Ability to read and verify locations and SKU numbers
• Willing and able to be cross trained and certified to operate any or all WSI DDC equipment: Reach Tracker, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker/TT, Motorized Pallet Jack
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
• Flexible to work overtime as required
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
