Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is hiring a 1st Shift Forklift Driver for the South Brunswick, NJ Distribution Center. Multiple schedules offer early start times and a steady on-site role with power equipment usage and inventory control responsibilities.

The position requires a high school diploma, forklift experience with Swing Reach/Reach Truck/Order Picker, RF scanning, and strong teamwork. Overtime may be required; safety and accuracy are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year forklift experience (Swing Reach, Reach Truck, Order Picker & Dock Stocker).
• At least 6 months RF scanner experience.
• Onsite role in the South Brunswick, NJ location.
• Excellent attendance and teamwork.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to learn warehouse management system (PKMS).
• Ability to read and verify locations and SKUs.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to complete daily tasks by end of day.
• Complete daily hub picks using the inventory system.
• Move items as needed; may involve power equipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse system.
• Complete staging and housekeeping tasks using power equipment.
• Load, unload, stack, and stage products with power equipment.
• Keep aisles and surroundings organized daily.
• Promote safety and a safety-first culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Tuesday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Saturday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
• Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
• Tuesday - Saturday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
• Tuesday - Saturday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Pay: $19.00 per hour.

The Forklift Driver position is located in South Brunswick, NJ.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will:

• Work with leadership to ensure the completion of all (Manual and On-Task) tasks by end of each day.
• Complete daily pick for the Hub with the use of our inventory management system.
• Utilizing the orders to understand where items need to be moved – may or may not include power equipment.
• Utilizing the warehouse system to maintain and uphold inventory accuracy.
• Ensuring the completion of all staging/sweeping tasks using power equipment.
• Loads and unloads, stacks, and stages products utilizing multiple types of power equipment.
• Ensure organization and housekeeping of aisles and surroundings daily
• Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company to help avoid unsafe or hazardous working conditions.
• Other duties as instructed.

• At least 6 months’ experience with RF scanners.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (PKMS)
• Ability to read and verify locations and SKU numbers.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner.
• Flexible to work overtime as required.
