Job summary

Praxis Packaging is seeking a dedicated Forklift Driver to gather bulk, components, and finished products for staging after receipt and before shipment. You will also help maintain control of physical and electronic inventory.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3 years in production/warehouse, and standup forklift experience. You will follow cGMP and safety procedures, aiming for accurate pallet placement and timely completion of tasks. Safety PPE must be worn at all times.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pull bulk and components to stage for production.

• Scan pallets to warehouse locations.
• Upload inventory from deliveries and help break down shipments.
• Follow cGMP and written procedures.
• Ensures timely completion of work.
• Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
• Works to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions.
• Addresses complaints and problems, elevates to Leadership when needed.
• Ensures proper PPE’s and Safety procedures are followed

Overview

The Forklift Driver will gather bulk, components, and finished products to stage after receipt and prior to shipment and will also help in maintaining control of physical and electronic inventory.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Reponsibilities:

• Pull bulk and components to stage for production.
• Help return inventory to warehouse locations while ensuring pallet tickets align with pallets they are affixed to.
• Stage finished product for shipment.
• Scan pallets to warehouse locations to help in the maintenance of electronic inventory.
• Upload inventory from deliveries and help in the breakdown of shipments.
• Follow all cGMP and written procedures.
• Ensures timely completion of work.
• Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
• Works to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions.
• Addresses complaints and problems, elevates to Leadership when needed.
• Ensures proper PPE’s and Safety procedures are followed

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

• Highschool or GED equivalent combination, required.
• 3 years of experience in production, warehouse, or related supply chain function, required.
• Standup Forklift experience, required.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.

Pay Range

USD $22.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
