Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in Denton, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory and Shipping Clerk to support production and maintenance by maintaining accurate material inventory in systems and on paper. You will process receipts, issues, transfers, and perform daily cycle counts while operating Tow Motors and meeting strict inventory controls.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, processing materials for shipping, pulling and transferring stock, and ensuring accuracy.

Job Details: Job Location: Denton, TX - Denton, TX 76207, Education Level: None, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Under general supervision, supports production and maintenance by maintaining an accurate material inventory in the computer system and on paper. Accurately maintain records of receipts, issues, transfers, and conduct cycle counts daily. Strict Inventory Control Procedures will be adhered to. This position involves the operation of electric and propane powered industrial vehicles (Tow Motors).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the receipt and inventory of incoming shipments, ensuring shipment is processed and placed in the appropriate bin. Ensure the appropriate transactions are entered into the computer system
• Process materials to be shipped by reviewing open order reports, pick list or tags.
• Pull the appropriate material and transfer to required location
• Conduct cycle counts as necessary and manage inventory of assigned area
• Load and unload trailers and flatbeds as required
• Resolve inventory discrepancies
• Perform as a Class A Driver
• Has the Authority and Responsibility to report non-conforming product

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
