Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pull orders, prep outbound shipments, load and unload freight, and perform inspection duties. You’ll work on safety-focused dock operations and maintain accuracy in light-to-midweight assignments.

The role requires operating various material handling equipment, completing forklift inspections, and keeping pallets and shipping supplies organized.

Qualifications

• Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock
• Keep shipping supplies organized and communicate on supply needs
• Complete other duties or tasks as assigned

• Responsible for pulling orders, prepping for outbound shipment, loading and unloading freight accurately
• Ensure all products are accurately pulled and over-packed correctly to customer expectations
• Must safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) including sit down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer pick, etc
• Along with daily forklift inspection sheet completed prior to operation of forklift
• Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
• Sort outbound freight based on carrier lane assignments
• Accurately pull orders based on location, part number, batch and quantity
• Placard, weigh, and record dimensions on appropriate paperwork
• Over-box pallets, wrap pallets and strap pallets in preparation for shipment
