Reports To
  • Shipping Group Leader.
Description

Performs routine duties required to store, record and ship component parts or finished goods to customers and other destinations as required. Performs a variety of activities requiring communication and support to other departments and performs other work related activities as required.

Responsibilities
  • Compares identification and counts, weighs and measures items of outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and records.
  • Pulls, unpacks and examines outgoing shipments, records damaged items, reports damages and shortages.
  • May operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, cranes or other material handling equipment.
  • Receives orders from Production Control and is responsible for filling those orders for shipment.
  • Responsible for meeting established quality and quantity levels of work assigned, housekeeping and safe work practices.
  • Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.
Education
  • High School Degree, GED or higher.

  • Forklift experience.
