Versova in Pasco, WA is seeking a Forklift Driver to safely move finished pallets from the bagging line to the pallet wrapper and into storage, supporting inventory accuracy and production flow in a food processing environment.
You will operate forklifts, wrap pallets, maintain counts, follow safety protocols, and coordinate with production and shipping. PIT forklift certification is provided by the company.
The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of finished pallets from the bagging machine and onto the pallet wrapper, and properly storing them for shipment. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the flow of finished products from production to storage, ensuring accurate inventory management and adherence to safety protocols.
This position operates primarily in a warehouse environment within a food processing facility. The role involves infrequent movement, sitting for extended periods, and exposure to cold temperatures. Forklift Drivers must be comfortable working around moving machinery and in a fast-paced environment. The job will require lifting and maneuvering heavy loads using motorized forklifts. Shift work may be necessary, including potential early morning, evening, or weekend shifts to meet production and shipping schedules. Safety is a top priority, requiring strict adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
