Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Transport finished products from the packaging line to the distribution center.
2. Deliver empty pallets and packaging materials to the production line.
3. Wrap loaded pallets according to company guidelines.
4. Ensure electric jacks are in working order and report problems to maintenance.
5. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
6. Follow company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Job Specifications

1. Forklift experience is required.
2. English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Working Conditions

1. Refrigerated food manufacturing plant environment.
2. Work may be in wet or dry conditions with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F.
3. Repetitive lifting of packages over 25 lbs. is required.
4. Overtime and evening or weekend shifts may be necessary due to production demands.
