Job summary

Poly-America, L.P. is hiring Forklift Drivers to join our shipping and receiving departments in Grand Prairie, TX. The role involves safe operation of sit-down propane forklifts to handle, load, and unload finished products.

You will regularly use RF scanners and inventory controls to pull orders, stock inventories, and restock racks. Work schedule is 4 days on, 4 days off with 12-hour shifts rotating weekly. Candidates must be available every day of the week and pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least six months of forklift experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management.
• Ability to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Job description

Poly-America, L.P. is currently hiring Forklift Drivers to join our shipping and receiving departments. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction and agricultural films.

Forklift Drivers at Poly-America are responsible for safe operation of sit-down propane forklifts for the purpose of handling, loading, and unloading finished product. Drivers at Poly-America regularly use RF scanners and inventory control systems to pull orders, keep production lines supplied, and re-stock inventory racks. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.

Forklift Drivers work a yearly set schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off with 12 hour shifts. The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week. Candidates must be available to work each day of the week.

• At least six months of recent experience operating a forklift.

• The ability to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.

Successfully passing a drug screen is required for this position.
